And Love the Life you Live
I’m wearing pulrpe! As a high school teacher, you wouldn’t believe the amount of homophobia (gay slurs, etc), I see on a daily basis. It doesn’t even need to be directed toward a particular individual to be hurtful. A lot of it is a passive form of bullying, which can be just as damaging, and contributes to a culture of gay = bad/wrong/different/etc. I do everything I can to create and promote a positive space and learning environment in my classrooms. I know it’s not enough, but hopefully it lets the LGBT youth feel more included (even if they are invisible , they are /there/).
Frank that is very a powerful and moving video. You are a special person to portray and convey such sensitive information in a moving way- clearly a tribute to your talent. Thank you for sharing it and getting the word out!
The world needs more people like you!
I will look for you around Hackensack- lol!!
